The inaugural 2018 Pickwick / Wilson Lake Big Bass Bash was a blast. What a phenomenal fishery these lakes are. We want to thank everyone that came out and participated in this event, and thank the City of Florence, AL, for their hospitality throughout the weekend. We hope you all had as much fun fishing this event as we did hosting it for you all.
The first ever Pickwick / Wilson Lake Bash drew 524 anglers from 14 states. We paid out a total of $108,565 in prize money, and are looking forward to coming back next year. The 2019 Pickwick / Wilson Lake Big Bass Bash will be held on March 30-31, 2019.
Congratulations to Nathan Brewer, winner of the 2018 Pickwick / Wilson Lake Big Bass Bash. Nathan weighed in his 11.28 lb. monster bass on Sunday at the Waterloo weigh-in station. For that fish, Nathan walked away with a total of $31,000 in cash.
